Food and drink

A picture of a collection of food and drink places in Wellington

Wellington boasts a range of independent cafes, restaurants and pubs – from the newly opened Halfway House perched en-route to the summit of the Wrekin, to The Walnut Restaurant on Tan Bank to the Rowton ‘Brewery Tap’ the Pheasant on Market Street with its micro-brewery at the back. Foods of the World are well represented with excellent curry restaurants and street food stalls popping up in the market.

There are a number of well-known supermarkets within the town as well as independent delis, wholesalers and top class butchers and a craft bakery.
